Spa etiquette

At Signature Spa our environment evokes tranquility and relaxation. Please respect other guests' right to privacy and serenity. In light of this the spa is a mobile phone, pager and smoke free zone.

You are encouraged to arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment so that we may update your current spa requirements or details and allowing you the chance to unwind ready for your treatment experience. Please be advised late arrivals may result in a reduction of treatment time.

We would like to advise that appointment times include 5-10 minutes for consultation and changing.

Clients are requested to wear undergarments for treatments.

The range of treatments available in the Spa is varied, and not all may be suitable for every individual. If you are taking medication, have recently had an operation or illness, or have a medical condition, including cancer remission, it is advisable to consult your doctor before booking treatments. If in doubt, please ask our therapists who have been trained to know under what circumstances a treatment should not proceed, when to refer a client to a doctor and can recommend alternative treatments. We do not wish to disappoint; however your health and well being are always our priority.

Within the first trimester of pregnancy we advise that certain treatments are not suitable. This can be discussed further when booking your treatment.

Please advise the spa in advance if you suffer from any allergies or from skin sensitivity, dermatitis, contact eczema or psoriasis.

In the interest of hygiene we do not recommend pedicures or reflexology if you suffer from verrucae or fungal infections.

Personal information given is held in the strictest of confidence.

To book an appointment for the perfect treatment, please speak to our spa team who will guide you to the right choice. Advanced booking of treatments is advised to avoid disappointment.

Treatments offered to under 16's will require a responsible adult, over 18 years of age, to be present at all times.

Aftercare advice will be given after every treatment, however, if you choose not to follow this advice your treatment may not last or be as effective as it should. In these cases no refunds will be given
